What are sediments?

Sediment is a naturally occurring material that is broken down by processes of weathering and erosion, and is subsequently transported by the action of wind, water, or ice or by the force of gravity acting on the particles[1], including sand, silt, rust, and other particles. It is exactly a problem if your water comes from a well or you live in an area with groundwater that contains a lot of sand or silt. Or, rust from the old fashion iron pipe. A quality whole house sediment filter can remove these particles from your water, eliminate the cloudiness and changing it into clean, clear, and great tasting with the correct filter used. Finding the right sediment filter can be a challenge, but our experienced Water Specialists at EXCELPURE can help. Contact us today for a solution!
